This is a great article because it not only allows and reminds people of the importance historic Aboriginal rock art plays in the national understanding of self, but that it shows how much has been lost and needs to be understood concerning the migration of people around the world.
The scientific advances that have taken place to allow a more accurate dating record of these important images is just as interesting a story as the rock art itself. There are times like these when i am just that little bit more proud of my country for its amazing depth of history, and constantly evolving scientific fields.
